Safeguarding Children

Safeguarding Children is high on the FA’s agenda, with the aim of having someone in every club in the Country aware of safeguarding children and best practice.

Safeguarding Children is about doing things the right way, allowing children to enjoy the game without abuse of any kind. This is a highly informative, and thought provoking, 3 hour interactive workshop suitable for any adult involved in football from Mums and Dads to Team Managers and Club Officials.

Wednesday 1st December 2010, Oasis Leisure Centre, Swindon

Wednesday 9th February 2011, Melksham House, Melksham

Wednesday 9th March 2011, Wyvern College, Salisbury

Wednesday 6th April 2011, Oasis Leisure Centre, Swindon

Wednesday 8th June 2011, Melksham House, Melksham

All Courses are run from 7pm - 10pm

The cost of the course is £25.00 or £20.00 if you are a member of a Charter Standard Club.

If you have attended a FA Safeguarding Children Workshop and it is expiring after 3 years, you are also able to recertify through the post. Please contact The Media Group on 0845 210 8080 (option 2). For a fee of £10, they will post the Safeguarding Children workshop information to you directly, you then work through the forms and send it back for recertification.

(Please note that if you recertify by post, you must attend a Safeguarding Children workshop once your qualification expires after the next 3 years)
