The FA MARS Just Play programme is a partnership between MARS and The FA that aims to arrest the decline in adult football. The partnership is aiming to get 150,000 new participants playing the game for at least 30 minutes a week by September 2013, and deliver a total of 3.9m hours of extra football played each year throughout England.
Wiltshire County FA was one of only 6 Counties to pilot the initiative at the beginning of 2011. The successful pilot, in partnership with Swindon College, and the comprehensive constructive feedback to the FA has now ensured that Just Play is a successful initiative across the Country.
Wiltshire CFA now has 4 successful Just Play Centres delivering informal ‘kickabout’ sessions to over 100 adults.
