FutsalFutsal Fever Hits Wiltshire
For all of you lovers of the small-sided game, you now have an opportunity to pit yourself against the best in the country! In association with the FA and the Wiltshire FA, the Wiltshire County Futsal League is delighted to announce that they are seeking a team to represent Wiltshire in the fast-growing sport of Futsal.
You will be following in the illustrious boots of Pele, Ronaldo, Ronaldhino, Luis Figo and Roberto Carlos who developed their skills playing the fast and exciting game of Futsal.
Futsal is the format of Small Sided Football that is recognised and supported by FIFA and UEFA with World and European Championships for club and National Teams.
The name 'Futsal' simply combines the Spanish words for 'Hall' - Sala and 'Football' - Futbol into Futsal. It is a five-a-side game, played with hockey sized goals and a smaller ball with reduced bounce.
