Forthcoming Pre-Season Trials at Wiltshire County FA Centre of Excellence for Girls

In having a long-term commitment to enhancing standards in English Female Football, stars of the future have a chance to join Wiltshire County FA Centre of Excellence for Girls in Season 2010/11 when main trials are held in June 2010. It is a summer of great promise but also decision making for budding young female footballers to decide where to play their football next season and at what level.

For players that possess the desire, ambition and drive to play at a level, above local football in Wiltshire, the following forthcoming dates have been announced for pre-season ‘Main’ Trials at Wiltshire County FA Centre of Excellence for Girls.

Trial Times: Tuesday 15th June 2010:
Under 10’s and Under 12’s: 6.00pm-7.30pm
Under 14’s and Under 16’s: 7.30pm-9.00pm

Trial Times: Thursday 17th June 2010:
Under 10’s and Under 12’s: 6.00pm-7.00pm
Under 14’s and Under 16’s: 7.00pm-8.00pm

If you are eligible for Under 10’s, Under 12’s, Under 14’s and Under 16’s age groups (age qualifying date is 1st September 2010, and a two year age range within the FA’s Centre of Excellence Programme) and wish to further your career opportunities to reach the top-tier of Women’s Football, pre-season Trial dates will be held at Beversbrook Sports Facility, Calne.

Several U14’s and U16’s Centre of Excellence players attended the South West Regional Trials for England selection in 2009/10 season and also, played for the County U18’s team assisting Wiltshire County FA to become worthy winners of the South West Women’s County Championship for a first occasion in history. Players from the Centre of Excellence have, in addition, secured placements at Chelsea, Charlton and also Reading Colleges, as well as Bath University to aid the FA’s long term player development philosophy.
