Swindon Spitfires 50th Anniversary - Looking to the future

Swindon Spitfires will celebrate its 50th Anniversary in June 2017 and are now looking forward to the future.

Swindon Spitfires will celebrate its 50th Anniversary in June 2017 and are now looking forward to the future. They club are actively looking for volunteers in the following areas to join the longest serving FA Charter Standard Development Club.

Coaches

The club are on the lookout for new coaches ideally with an FA Level 1 to assist with the running of teams. If you would like to volunteer as a coach but do not have an FA Level then support is available for new coaches.

 

If you are driven and are enthusiastic then please get in touch to help take the club forward.

Committee Members

The club committee is looking to add to its current cohort and are actively looking for potential members with experience in any of the following: Administration, Finance, Advertising, Sponsorship, Commercial, Marketing and Leadership.

Players and Training

The club host provision as follows and new players are always welcome.

 

  • Little Pilots 3-6yrs (girls)
  • Under 7s & 8s (girls)
  • Under 9 & 10s (girls)
  • Under 11 & 12s (girls)
  • Under 13 & 14s (girls)
  • Under 15 & 16s (girls)
  • Open Age 16+ (Female)
  • Open Age 16+ (Male)

 

All juniors training takes place Wednesdays with the times and venues varying between age groups.  Times and venues vary according to age group.

16 + Open Age Female training takes place on Tuesdays and Thursdays whilst the Open Age Men training takes place on a Tuesday.
