Additional Welfare Officer Workshop

We’re pleased to confirm an additional Welfare Officer Workshop has been added to our Course Programme.

The course is designed to explore the role of the welfare officer and to identify support networks for designated persons in football and will take place at Beversbrook Sports Facility in Calne on 30th January 2018.

It will help welfare officers recognise the best practice that is already in place to safeguard youth leagues and youth teams, and identify any areas that need to be addressed to provide fun, safe, positive football environments.

Who is the course for?

Club Welfare Officers who have completed FA Safeguarding Children Workshop have an accepted FA CRC.

The Welfare Officer Workshop builds upon the knowledge developed in the Safeguarding Children Workshop, and gives Club Welfare Officers the tools they need to carry out the role.
