County Administrator

A new opportunity has arisen at the Wiltshire County Football Association to support safeguarding and general administration.

25 hours per week
Salary: £15,000 pro rata + Pension

This flexible part-time (25 hours) position will support the delivery of the Operational Plan with a particular emphasis on the implementation of the County FA Safeguarding Operating Standards. The post holder shall work closely with the Designated Safeguarding Officer on all areas of safeguarding administration and provide administrative support across the Association.

  • Provide high quality administrative support to ensure compliance with all elements of safeguarding as identified in Wiltshire FAs Safeguarding Operating Standards
  • Keep and maintain accurate databases
  • Coordinate risk assessment paperwork for all activity undertaken by the County FA
  • Support administration of the Charter Standard programme for clubs and leagues
  • Administration support to Wiltshire Schools FA
  • Deal with telephone and e-mail enquiries; providing a high level of customer service to internal and external customers

Applicants must have a proven track record of providing exceptional administrative support and demonstrate competency in IT systems. An understanding of specific FA IT systems will be advantageous and an understanding of grassroots football is vital. A “Customer Excellence” ethos is of paramount importance as is the ability to manage multiple priorities, communicate effectively and be a strong team player. As this role incorporates significant support to safeguarding, you should be able to demonstrate a working understanding of safeguarding of children and adults at risk.

The position is for 25 hours per week and the days worked are flexible. In addition the benefits package includes a generous allocation 28 days annual leave (pro rata) + Bank Holidays, a 3% contributory pension and training opportunities. The post holder will be required to work in the County Office based at Units 2/3 Dorcan Business Village, Murdock Road, Dorcan, Swindon, SN3 5HY.
