Local Club supports football in Gambia

Swindon based FC Abbeymeads football Club who have been providing football since 2003 have decided that in 2018 they will support and give back to others that enjoy football but that are less fortunate than themselves.

Therefore, as a Club they are now collecting unwanted football kit / football boots / equipment – kit that has been outgrown (this can be separate kits, complete kits, used and unused kit for both juniors and seniors) for villages in Gambia like Nemakunku village football team.

Kit can be handed into their coaches or you can message the club to arrange a drop off of donated kit and equipment.

The Club have drop-off centres in Swindon as follows:

- Justin Tomlinson MP, Swindon North Offices, Orbital Centre, Priory Vale
- PlayFootball Arena, Kembrey Park, Swindon

The Club are still eager for other local / national businesses to get involved to support their efforts, be it as a drop off point for donations or helping to sponsor the carriage of donations to Gambia.

All offers and donations are welcome.
