Wiltshire Ability Counts League

For All logo

We are seeking individuals to join a league committee for Wiltshire’s established disability football league, the Wiltshire Ability Counts League.

The league contains 17 teams (more expected this season) across three age groups: u12s (u9-u12s), u16s (u13s-u16s) and 16+.

The league format consists of 6 central venue fixture festivals across the season.

The league was set up 2011 by Wiltshire FA and Dorset FA and in 2014 the league separated from Dorset and was solely run by Wiltshire FA. The league has grown from eight teams, when it began in 2014, to sixteen in the 2018/19 season; and further growth is expected next season. Therefore, an established league committee is required to ensure the sustainability of the league and allow Wiltshire FA to focus on growing disability football in the county.

Wiltshire FA will continue to support the committee throughout the season and will provide a starting budget. All venues/fixture dates have been booked in for this season and teams are aware of the dates.

The league is seeking, the following roles:

  • Chairperson
  • Secretary
  • Treasurer
  • Welfare Officer
  • (Match day Coordinator)

Please see the below document for more information on each of the roles. If you are interested in joining committee, please complete an expression of interest form (found below) and return to Lyndon.Taylor@WiltshireFA.com . If you would like any further information, please contact Lyndon Taylor on 01793 486047
