Team Nineteen is The FA’s intra-mural football programme for Further Education, developed by The Football Association along with delivery partners English Colleges FA (ECFA) and British Colleges Sport (BCS).
Team Nineteen is flexible, fun football specifically designed with 16-19 year olds in mind. The format of each Team Nineteen league will vary and will be designed to best suit your students, your facilities and your timings.
The FA and ECFA understand that the planning, organisation, commitment and effort needed to get students and staff away from college and that travel arrangements are not cheap or always necessarily available. We also understand that budgetary cuts within colleges make it so much harder to offer wider-ranging opportunities for sports activities, particularly football. Team Nineteen addresses this by offering student led football in the comfort of their own college.
Intra-Mural Football offers increase student participation, increase student led sport and college pathways for players.
Wiltshire County FA can help you to develop Team 19 or flexible formats of football within your establishment. To discuss potential development please contact Chloe.Buller@wiltshirefa.com
