More and more people are looking to continue playing football into their mid thirties and beyond. This could be to keep fit, play with friends or prove they still 'have it'!
Opportunities for players aged 35 and over are a growing area for football. Due to work, family commitments and a whole host of other constraints, players often want a format of football that differs from the traditional 11-a-side game. This could be fortnightly/monthly fixtures, shorter game duration or simply rolling substitutions.
Wiltshire County FA have delivered summer Veteran's leagues in the County in the past and now this has grown to running a series of Veteran's leagues across the season (on average x2 Veteran's leagues in a season). The games within these leagues are delivered at a central location, often playing evening games during the week.
Any individual players or teams who wish to find out further information participating in Veterans football should contact Chloe.Buller@wiltshirefa.com or call 01793 486047
