Kirsty Frior CEO

Kirsty Frior joined the organisation in June 2014 having had 12 years of experience working in County FAs in the East and East Midlands. 

Kirsty has a background in football development and implementing a strategic approach into the day to day working of the County FA for the benefit of grassroots football. 

Governance Team

Jodie Jordan

Jodie joined the organisation in January 2015 and is responsible for the Governance section of the County FA, which encompasses discipline, affiliations and sanctioning.

Jodie joined the team from Berks and Bucks FA where she spent 4 and a half years within the Football Services team.

A key role will see Jodie working closely with clubs and leagues to ensure the governing of the game throughout the County.

Pat joined the organisation in September 2004 and is a key member of the governance team.

Kate Foote County Administrator

Kate is an integral part of the Wiltshire FA team since joining in September 2002. Her responsibilities include supporting leagues and clubs with sanction and affiliation as well as supporting members with the Whole Game system.  Kate oversee's the Association's internal and external publications including the County website and eNewsletters & leads the organisation's social media presence.  Kate is also the administrator for the County U16, U18 and Womens representative teams.

Shane Comb

Shane joined the organisation in September 2015 and is supporting both the Governance and Development teams with all football administration.

Shane is an active Level 7 referee and spends most weekends refereeing in the County.

In his role he will be working closely with clubs, leagues and referees to ensure the governing of the game throughout the County.  Shane also helps with the discipline within the county, supporting clubs and leagues when possible. He is the main lead for the Wiltshire Referee Academy and Referee mentoring program.

Development Team

Mark Young Football Development Manager

Mark joined the association from the Devon FA from a Senior Football Development officer position in June 2013 and is responsible for the Football Development section of the County FA, with a specific remit around facility development, funding and the FA National Game Strategy delivery. 

Within the role Mark works closely with various Key Partners to ensure successful delivery of football development outcomes within Wiltshire.

Kevin Small Referees Development Officer

Kevin has been with the County FA for many years in various roles and is a member of the Council.

In the role as Referees Development Officer, Kevin is responsible for promotion and recruitment of referees, mentoring and supporting the referee workforce, the WCFA referee academy and all other aspects of refereeing. 

Kevin is still an active Level 4 referee and will often be found refereeing at various games around the County.

Adam Greaney Football Development Officer

After graduating from Leeds University in 2004 with a BA (Hons) in Sport and Recreation Development Adam worked in football development for 10 years and was successfully was appointed as Football Development Officer in September 2012.

Adam's role encompasses the development and sustainability of the male 11v11 game, Equlaity, Football Mash Ups, Disability Football, Respect and elements of educational work.

Tim Hall Football Development Officer

Tim joined the organisation in October 2012 as Get into Football Officer and successfully transitioned into the current role of Football Development Officer. 

Within his role as Football Development Officer, Tim leads on a number of work programmes that sit within the National Game Strategy. Some of the key focuses of his work are Women's and Girls football, Charter Standard programme, Football Futures, Coach Development and the Better Players element of the strategy. Tim is also responsible for the Wiltshire Girls Advanced Coaching Centre. 

Alongside the Football Development officer role Tim also looks at the organisation from a marketing front whilst assisting with the development of the County FA website.

 

Chloe Buller - Football Development Officer (Just Play) 07946468783 / Chloe.Buller@wiltshirefa.com

Chloe is the latest member of the WCFA Development Team joining the organisation in October 2014.

Joining the team from Worcestershire FA and with a BSC Hons in Sports Coaching Science from University of Worcester. Chloe oversees the Just Play programme with the main aim of getting 16+ playing football.

Chloe's role includes flexible formats of the game such as Walking Football and Veterans and also focuses on Small Sided Football within the County both in the public and college environment.

Ashleigh Brennan

Ashleigh is responsible for all aspects of the Wiltshire FA Coach Education programme here at the County FA.

She is the primary contact for all pre, during and post course communication and has an essential relationship with the tutor and football workforce to ensure successful delivery of the course education programme.

Ashleigh joined the organisation in July 2016.

  

Shirley Needham - County Welfare Officer 01793 486047 Shirley.Needham@wiltshirefa.com

Shirley joined the association in August 2016 as County Welfare Officer and has a wealth of professional experience.

Being based in the County office on Mondays and Tuesdays Shirley will oversees case management, CRB's, league and club welfare support, social media awareness and works closely with the County operations team to safeguard the football community.

Shirley is also the County Welfare Officer of the Somerset FA. 

 

FA Skills Team

Kirk McGinn

Kirk is a FA Skills team leader for Wiltshire and Gloucestershire. 

Kirk has worked in the game for many years at a variety of levels.  He has had time with Swindon town FC, Arsenal Soccer schools in the Middle East and most recently Bristol Rovers before Re-joining the FA Tesco Skills Team.

Kirk is a level 3 qualified coach and has completed the FA Youth Award modules one and two.

Victoria Summerfield

Victoria is an FA Skills Coach in the Wiltshire team.

Victoria has been involved in the FA Football Futures programme since the age of 16; she has also played for Wiltshire C.O.E u16’s and Wiltshire County u18’s. Victoria is also involved in coaching in local schools and with Wiltshire Girls Player Development Centre. 

Victoria is a level 2 qualified coach, and has also completed the FA Youth Award modules one, two and three. As well as completing her Futsal UK Victoria has also been lucky enough to spend time over in Brazil at one of their soccer schools.
