Lets Celebrate Respect

Postcards launched within the County

Following on from several Respect related initiatives this season, namely the ‘Setting your Stall Out’ and ‘Silent Sunday’, that many of you have been involved in, Wiltshire County FA would like to continue this positive showcasing of Respect in Wiltshire and would like to take this opportunity launch our new ‘Let’s Celebrate Respect’ postcards.
Wiltshire County FA would like highlight the many positive acts that happen in all forms of football every weekend across our County.  We would like to hear about the positive actions and stories that we know happen week-in-week-out in your leagues/clubs so we have designed a simple postcard for leagues, clubs, referees, parents, spectators, coaches, players and everyone else involved in football to complete and return to us.

These positive stories will then be celebrated on our website and e-zine with the ‘best’ example receiving a reward.  These will be judged every 3 months at the end of each window:

  • Window 1 – October -December 2014 (deadline for postcards 1st January 2015)
  • Window 2 – January –March 2015 (deadline for postcards 1st April 2015)
  • Window 3 – April – June 2015 (deadline for postcards 1st July 2015)

If you have seen something that you think deserves our Respect please let us know. You can send your completed nominations electronically (please see below PDFs) to adam.greaney@wiltshirefa.com.  Alternatively if you would like a hard copy postcard please contact Adam who will arrange distribution – please note there are a limited number of hardcopy postcards.
