An outstanding accomplishment has been achieved by the Salisbury Walking Football group in raising £1000 for the Salisbury Hospice.

The achievement was made through their 'Easter Eggstravaganza Raffle' which was drawn by Ellie Osmond who is the Corporate Fundraiser for the Hospice at the Five Rivers Leisure Centre - the home of Salisbury Walking Football.

In addition to being a walking football group, the team pride themselves in their proactive approach in finding different ways to support within their community.  They hit a record 36 players at their Monday session at Five Rivers, registered seven new players and finished the week having 83 attendees during the week, including nine at the ladies only session.
