What's on offer?
We are offering a unique opportunity for female 16+ players to represent Wiltshire FA in a county football competition. During the season 2018/19 season Wiltshire FA will once again be competing in the South & West Counties Championship Competition.

To be eligible to represent Wiltshire FA and to attend forthcoming trials you must meet the following criteria: 

- Born in the County or currently living at Wiltshire postcode; 
- Be playing for a Wiltshire FA Member Club; 
- Be at least 16 years of age as at the 31 August;
- Players must not have made more than 5 appearances over both the 2017/18 and 2018/19 season in the South West Counties Regional Football League Eastern Division and above. This rule includes equivalent leagues at this level and above in neighbouring counties.

This is an exciting opportunity for female footballers to represent their County team.

When and where are the trials?

We are delighted to announce the appointment of David Podger as the new Wiltshire FA Women’s Representative Manager for the 2018/19 season. David has a wealth of experience within the game where he has worked across both grassroots and elite women’s & girls football environments. David currently holds the UEFA B Coaching Licence and FA Youth Award qualification. We welcome David and his coach Jonny House to the team and wish them the best throughout the season.

We are now taking nominations for trials which will be hosted at Beversbrook Sports Facility in Calne on Thursday 17^th May and Thursday 24^th May between 19:00 and 20:30 on each evening. Nominations (maximum of five per team) can be made by completing the Player Trial Information Form and returning to Shane.Comb@WiltshireFA.com or by posting, marked for the attention of Shane Comb to Wiltshire FA, Units 2/3 Dorcan Business Village, Murdock Road, Dorcan, Swindon, SN3 5HY.  Please note, forms should be received no later than 5pm on Monday 30th April 2018.

Following the trials, a squad and players who are successful will be required to commit to training and fixtures between the start of June up until the end of September.

Wiltshire FA have high expectations for the season ahead and look forward to welcoming new and existing players to next month’s trials.
