Lionesses Heading To Swindon
England Women's National Team preparations for the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup will include four home internationals across the country with the Lionessess heading to the County Ground, home of Swindon Town FC this April.
The ‘Road to France Series’ will be played at four different UK venues, giving plenty of fans the chance to see the Lionesses up close and fans can catch the team in action on Tuesday 9th April (KO 7pm) as they take on Spain at the Energy Check County Ground.
This is not the first time the Lionesses have visited Swindon, back in 2009, the national team faced Denmark, winning 1-0 in a friendly.
Tickets for the game are now on sale priced at only £1 for concessions and £10 for adults – reduced to £7.50 if booked before Thursday 28 February 2019. Wiltshire FA Charter Standard Clubs can access 10 complimentary tickets and can make a group booking here.
