Grounds and Natural turf improvement programme
As part of The FA's Pitch Improvement Programme the Wiltshire FA has teamed up with the Institute of Groundsman and a small team of professional groundsman to provide a series of informal gatherings.
The aim is supporting our local clubs and facilities in a warm and friendly environment.
The workshops are open to groundsmen and club officials who would like to learn more about getting the best out of their natural turf playing surfaces.
The series will run across the duration of the season, and 'hot topics' with key maintenance topics / tactic relevant to the specific time of year being the focus.
A number of local clubs also share their Pitch Improvement journeys at these events, as we look to encourage and embed best practice across the County.
All events will run between 6.30pm - 8.30pm

The workshops are free of charge but booking is essential as places are limited. Teas / coffees and biscuits will be complimentary.
We ask that you attend with an open mind and come ready to share the challenges / experiences of your own site.
