We are delighted to announce that Sean Rudd, our former Football Services Apprentice and Ella Broad, young referee and member of our Youth Council have been shortlisted for a Wiltshire Life Award.

Sean was nominated in Apprentice of the Year category. During his time at Wiltshire FA Sean was a valued asset, while studying he provided great support for the team, often taking on additional work. Sean’s commitment to his professional development has meant he has not only successfully passed his Level 3 apprenticeship but has also moved on to the next step of his career journey, working with The FA and Middlesex FA dealing with player and club enquiries on a national scale.

Ella’s nomination for Young Sports Personality of the Year recognised her outstanding contribution to grassroots football and her clear potential to progress in refereeing.

The Wiltshire Life Awards are about celebrating the hard work and achievements of the extraordinary people, communities and businesses in Wiltshire. Both Ella and Sean have been invited to join the celebration at the awards dinner and ceremony in March 2020.
